King of Tonga spends Father’s Day with Family Members

His Majesty King Taufa’ahau Tupou IV spent Father’s Day with Her Majesty Queen Halaevalu Mata’aho and members of the Royal Family at Mercy Hospital in Auckland.  The King and the Queen received sacrament from the Royal Chaplain, Dr ‘Alifeleti Mone on Sunday.

His Majesty the King is comfortable and members of the Royal Family are pleased with the care he is receiving from the Hospital.

The Royal Family acknowledges and appreciates the many messages of support and prayers from people around the world.  Many leaders from the Pacific, and within Maoridom, have visited the King, including the President of French Polynesia.  Kind messages of support from many countries have been received, including the Emperor of Japan.
